This is a database with selections from the extensive sound recordings at Svenskt visarkiv (Centre for Swedish Folk Music and Jazz Research), which date from the early 1900‘s to the present day.

The catalogue contains information both on recordings made by Svenskt visarkiv and on those donated by other institutions and private persons. Via the database you can hear a number of recordings which are more than 50 years old in addition to recordings for which we have been granted special permission by the copyright owners.
