Svenskt visarkiv is a unit within Musikverket (Swedish Performing Arts Agency) and is responsible for the collecting, preserving, researching and publishing of material within the areas of:

  • folk and other older songs
  • instrumental folk music
  • older popular music
  • Swedish jazz
