Radio Sweden's recording journeys
Most of Radio Sweden's recordings of folk music were made by Matts Arnberg during a number of recording journeys in Sweden and other Nordic countries in the 1950's and 60's. Other reporters with an interest in cultural history had previously produced reports from various parts of Sweden in which traditional musicians and singers were recorded in order to impart a local flavour.
